descriptionThe man worked in haste but with a certain precision. He stopped in front of each house and made a few quick lines in the sketchbook he held, then strode on to the next building on the block. Sometimes he would take a peek behind buildings or stand back to see how the road curved or how a roofline looked from a slightly different angle. Strangely, he seemed more interested in buildings facing the harbour, hardly bothering with those fronting north. If anyone in the Prince Edward Island towns of Charlottetown and Summerside had bothered to follow him, they would have noticed that he walked every street in the two communities, and even strolled out into the country to gaze at some of the rural estates. It is more likely that, aside from the casual glances of a few individuals not concerned with more important matters or the questioning stares of idle boys who seldom missed anything in their neighbourhoods, no one gave the wandering sketcher so much as a second glance.Find Similar by description
