Part of the Smith, Alley collection at the Public Archives and Records Office of PEI, this collection includes 19 questionnaires sent to elderly residents of Prince Edward Island in June 1876, by D. Currie possibly on behalf of Judge George Alley, regarding the local history of Prince Edward Island. Questionnaires may have been sent as a prelude to the formation of the Historical Society of Prince Edward Island or as an exercise in gathering information for a PEI history.
