Description
This is the home of Mr. M.J. McIver, his wife Catherine and their children. Mr. McIver was well known for his influence in expanding the potato industry on PEI in the 1920’s. He built this house on property he bought from a Mr. John Wall in 1920. He and his wife were great supporters of the arts in the community and hosted many clubs and events in their home. The house was sold to the Sisters of Saint Martha in 1935.
