Description
This was the CEF's (Canadan Expeditionary Force) main battle rifle. This proved to be very unreilable compared to the British Lee Enfield. This rifle would jam up because of faulty ammunition and could't withstand high rates of fire. However due to the rate of fire snipers during the war prefered them. It was eventually replaced with the British Lee Enfield rifle in 1916 due to complaints.
