50 Pleasant Street

Description
One of the most interesting details regarding this house is the fact that it was hauled to two different locations. It was built in Sherbrooke at Alfred Waite’s farm with the intention of providing housing for their hired man. The house did not get finished so Harry Taylor bought it and had it hauled to Hamilton, PE (where Rodney Hogg lives currently lives). When the Taylor’s eventually sold their property in Hamilton they hauled their house into Kensington in 1963. The roof was changed from a hipped roof to a taller peaked roof. This image depicts 50 Pleasant Street, 1981.
