Description
Alan Champion was born and raised in this house. The house was built sometime between 1928 and 1932, and Alan’s parents, Ervin and Edna Champion, would have had the house built because his father was a building contractor. Allan Champion’s grandfather, father, and two uncles ran a construction business called Earle Champion and Sons. At some point, Alan’s grandmother Easter came to live with them at this house from the Kennedy House at 63 Victoria Street West. In 1954 the house was sold to Ronnie Kennedy and Ervin and Edna moved to 50 Broadway Street South, which later became Dr. Paul McCarville’s dental clinic.
