Description
The cemeteries of Prince EdwardIsland are fascinating treasures toexplore. From one end of the provinceto the other, a picture is carved instone. The picture features gentle landscapes, beautiful trees, sometimes aview of the water and, of course, handcraftedmonuments offering an immediatelink with our past. The memories ofthose who have gone on before us livein these sanctuaries. Knowing the storiesof the occupants allows one toappreciate that a cemetery is not a siteof finality and death, but a continuationof life. In a way, cemeteries are a vehicleof immortality.
